Question:
What is the difference “act good deeds” with “act good deeds spontaneously” (e.g.: helping someone who falls down on the street). In my opinion, to act a good deed is like “Yang Tek” ( it has to be done intentionally ).
Please help me explain on this subject.
Thank you.
Answer:
The meaning of acting good deeds ( Gong De ) is an act which is done spontaneously with out expecting something in return. And it gives benefits to others. In doing Gong De, sometimes others could notice our act, or sometimes no one notices it. In the circumstance, when others notice it, it is defined as “Yang De” and when no one notices it, it is called “Yin De”.
