Question :
When we pray for something to God, why are the results not as expected? The answers sometimes match with the results, but sometimes they are not matched at all. Does it depend on karma or good deeds (kung tek)?
Answer :
For sure a ‘question’ and a ‘wish’ are very different. And this is to be understood first. An answer to a question and a grant to a wish are depending on many factors. Sometimes we could feel the answer is not right or the wish is not granted. However we also have to understand that ‘find God, but don’t lose own-self’. Like the theory of Tao, our fate is on our hand, half is from us and the other half is from heaven. If we give our best and try very hard ( this is the half from us ), the result achieved could be more and maximum ( due to blessing from God according to our effort ). If we solve many of our problems by ourselves ( without praying for God’s help ), when facing roadblocks, help from God would automatically appear. So it is better to maximize our capability and face challenges with courage and enthusiasm. Put our destiny on our hands ( not even on God’s ). All the best!
