Question :
Dear Taoyu, If we seldom pray due to religion difference with housemate and long distance from home to temple, would we still get blessing from God?
Answer :
Having a religion according to own belief is the most basic rights of a human being which others have to respect it. However while doing religion service, we should not disturb others. So what is the matter if you conduct your religion service at home in which “coincidentally” lives someone with different belief? Does your activity disturb others? Aren’t we able to conduct it in own room for example? It is a pity that we always find excuses for not doing it! Let’s imagine we know each other, see each other and communicate well each day; one day if I need a favor from you, you definitely would try to help me. Even though I don’t ask for help, you might offer yours ( due to the closeness of our relationship ). In another way, if we only meet once and have no contacts after that, are you willing to offer your help? Hopefully this would help to solve your problem.
