From : Alexander Cuen
Question :
( To be more brief, webmaster has summarized your letter )
In essence, Alexander Cuen mentioned that he is a Taoyu, and now feeling very depressed, because his fiancé cheated him and decided to have a relationship with another man. Many ways have been tried to forget this problem however the result has not yet to come. More over he felt worse and thought that he had a mental disorder. So he would like to seek help from this forum.
Answer :
First of all I am sorry for the condition you are going through. I can understand your sorrow and disappoint that leads to your depression. Till when do you want to be in this condition? I can say that you agree with me that this situation should not drag further. And also agree that you have to move on with life. Tell yourself loudly this must be over, and you have to get up and come out to be a winner!!! With out a drive and firmness from yourself, nothing can change your situation. All advises and suggestions from others might not be considered because you think that they could not feel the pain you have then how they would understand my sorrow!? That is normal however try to think logically and imagine if you are still in this condition, can you change the situation back? Of Course Not. If you are not “meant to be together”, surely one day you will “lose” her. Many times in life we have to accept that “what comes can’t be rejected, and what goes can’t be held”. What more important is that we could hang on and adjust ourselves to the changing situation. Probably you may give yourself one more day to feel sad, then after you must throw away anything that is related to the matter. If possible burn everything that might make you relate to the unhappiness. As soon as possible start a new life, make more friends, spend your time with positive activity, work hard so that you would be better off financially, and read good books. Of course keep praying to God and even better you might want to read Taoist Holy Books. Then only you can recover soon. All the best!
