Question:
I would like to ask a question. During our exercise (Lien Kung), why should we face to the east? Is it because the sun rises in the east, so there is power from that direction? Why not north, south, or west? Thank you.
Answer:
Yes, during exercise (Lien Kung) we are taught to face to the east, because that direction is the source of energy. And what more important is that “lesson” from our “Teacher” is stated like that, isn’t it? If we neglect it intentionally, wouldn’t we become “bad students”? At this point of time, follow the instruction. One day we would understand the meaning behind it.
