WANTS
Take a little bit, and you will have plenty more. Wanting overly, then you will be obsessed
There is no other greater disaster than the unsatisfied wants.

HUMBLE
Step back first, if you want to step ahead.
Try to give first, if you would like to take.
Make humble yourself and lowering yourself under others first, if you want to be on the top of them.
When you want to become a leader then you must put their interests first over yours. Then they will support you without feeling being burdened on their shoulder by your weight.

The gentleness
When one is still alive, the body is soft and elastic.
When one is dead, the body will be stiff and hard.
When the plants still grow, they are weak and soft.
When they died, they become dried and fragile.
Therefore, hardness and stiffness are the way to die. Softness and Flexibility are the way to live.

Egoism
When you put yourself after other people, then you will find that you are the first.
If you don’t just think of yourself, then you will be able to enjoy life.
If you can stop becoming egoist then your personal interest will be materialized. The more you do for other people, the more you will get for yourself.
The more you give, the richer you will be.

The Conviction
In facing the difficulties, solve the easier one. In reaching a big objective, firstly start with the smaller one. It is easy to hold something when stable. It is easy to make plan before anything happened.
The wisdom

A wise man doesn’t have a permanent judgment. He considers the other people wish as his own. He agrees to the good people, as well as the bad people. Then all of them are becoming good. He trusts the faithful people, as well as the unfaithful people. Then all of them are becoming the faithful ones.
For a wise man, there isn’t any hopeless person, because he knows how to educate them, and there isn’t any useless thing, because he knows how to use it.

A big tree grows from a small seed.
A tall tower is built from the flat land. Thousand miles of journey is started with the first step.
Face the problem when it is still easy to handle.
Take the precaution before the problems arise.
Everything will become easier to fail when it is near the finish stage. However, if you are careful enough in the early stage, the failure can be avoided.

Life is like a flower; the road is full of obstacles, full of misery,
Who could give the luck/fortune? Just, the Almighty Tao, the Supreme God.

A clear mind with a calm mind is the path to heaven. The vague mind and the confused mind will knock on the hell’s door.

Even evil knows the truth (Tao), but they are afraid of it, since what so called the truth (Tao) surely contains the highest perfection.

Do not judge what it means and the sense of something while it is still happening and not over yet.

Rain does not grow the rootless grass; Gods only take across people with high consciousness.
Doing good deed is like a plant in a beautiful garden, it doesn’t look getting taller, but it is getting blooming everyday. Doing bad thing is like a sharpening stone, it doesn’t look lessen, but it is getting thinner everyday.

To lit a torch in the darkness, there are some people who are happy because getting illuminated, however, there are also other people who hates that light because it becomes glaring their eyes.
We have to be able to forgive those people who hate us, because maybe they have been drowned in the darkness too long, so they still can not accept the brightness in the mean time.

Question:
I would like to ask about “Killing”. Is the act of killing right or wrong? Or does it depend on reasons behind it, or effects caused by it?
For example, if I kill enemies in a war, or if I kill for defending myself, is my act of doing right? So far, in my opinion, killing (no matter what the reason or the effect) is still wrong, because it take somebody’s life away. Besides, I think if I murder someone; that means I owe him / her life. Please explain.
Answer:
As human, our life is connected to each other, causes and effects take place accordingly in a way that none is able to understand them. Of course, killing must be avoided. However, we have to understand that it is a different case when it comes to different cases, such as: wars, protecting own-life. It is a natural fact that we are the one who should protect ourselves.

Answer:
San Ching is the Greatest Gods of Taoism, who are Ling Bao Thian Jun, Dao De Thian Jun, Yuan Shi Thian Jun. There is a term, “Yi Chi Hua San Ching”, which means the three of Them are part of “One”. From this understanding, it can be said that One is Three, and Three is One. Hope the explanation answers your question

I would like to ask a question. During our exercise (Lien Kung), why should we face to the east? Is it because the sun rises in the east, so there is power from that direction? Why not north, south, or west? Thank you.
Answer:
Yes, during exercise (Lien Kung) we are taught to face to the east, because that direction is the source of energy. And what more important is that “lesson” from our “Teacher” is stated like that, isn’t it? If we neglect it intentionally, wouldn’t we become “bad students”? At this point of time, follow the instruction. One day we would understand the meaning behind it.

Answer:
The Greatest God of Taoism is Thay Sang Law Cin who “went down” to the world several times to pass down Taoism and to give “way” to save human. The details of Him would be written in a special column in this website

Question:
According to Taoism every human has 7 spirits which after incarnation each of them would become one human. He / She would look alike in terms of looks or character. Are the 7 of them can meet again as a family? For example: twins, parents and child, or siblings. And another thing, don’t human carry our genetic from our parents, so they would look like their parents? Thank you.
Answer:
The fact that theory of San Hwen Ci Bek stated that one’s spirits are layered. So during Shen Kung (exercise) and Cing Cuo (meditation), we try to unify (or solidify) our fragile spirits. After incarnation, it will not always become 7. There are lots of factors which are hard to be explain fully. And it can’t be seen whether they become family or related closely, unless by someone who has high level of Siu Tao. After all, there is not much use of knowing it, because everything has already gone through their-own “process”.
We have to think logically, although there are a lot of things in the world that do not have logical explanations yet.
